USA Men's Basketball Defeats China 119-62

The USA Men's Basketball Team played China in their first game in the 2016 Olympics in Rio. The USA were looking for yet another gold in basketball.

After a slow start, the USA got off to a 9-0 run to take an 11-4 lead halfway through the first quarter. They would lead 30-10 at the end of the first. China had seven turnovers to USA's one. The USA also finished the quarter on a 26-6 run. They would lead 59-30 at the half. 

USA would go on to win by a final score of 119-62. Kevin Durant led the team the whole way, being the leading scorer at the end of each quarter. He would finish with 25 points. The USA are back in action on Monday against Venezuela.
